I want to ask bus driver what is the last station. So can I say it like "Where the train will be terminated or where does the train end?

Hi,

You could simply ask "Which is the last station?"

Your first sentence sounds as if you are expecting Arnie to appear on the scene.

If you want to use 'terminate', as some transport officials do, it needs to be active, not passive: "Where will/does the train terminate?" This sounds rather stuffy.

Most of your thread titles have been equally meaningless, cnshah.

A good one for this thread would have been
Where the train will be terminated?

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'

Train: What is the last station?
Bus: What is the last stop?

Not a teacher!

In the ol' days, while travelling on the buses, you could have asked the conductor.

The terminus is usually indicated on the front of the bus. Should I fail to read this I would ask, 'What is the last stop?' or, 'What is the final destination?'
