[Grammar] Is "a scary-sounding name" good English?

Dear friends,

I heard someone say "that's a bit of scary-sounding name." Does it sound natural to you? If you were B, what would you say? Thank you.

A: These waters off the Outer Banks are so dangerous that they've earned the nickname "Graveyard of the Atlantic."

B: Woo, Graveyard of the Atlantic, that's a bit of scary-sounding name!
