Hello again!
Assist owner appointed Wärtsilä service engineer to vulcanize seals in situ.
Does the above sentence mean "Help Wärtsilä service engineer to vulcanize seals in situ".
I have left out "owner appointed" (appointed by the owner) on purpose.
Is there structure similar to "help somebody (to) do something", namely, "assist somebody (to) do something".
The sentence is from a repair specification.
Thank you.
