Hello,

Can I use both the Present Perfect and the Present Perfect Continuous in this context?

a. I have waited for you all my life. Now that I have found you, I will never let you go.
b. I have been waiting for you all life. Now that I have found you, I will never let you go.

Is one better than the other?

Thank you.

I prefer the second as it makes it clear that the waiting was a continuous happening right up until the meeting. However, you need to add "my" before "life".

Could one also, in this case, use "all of my life"?
