It goes without saying that nowadays one can choose and listen to music of any kind, style, direction he wants. It seems life will be empty without music and how can be this explained? What does such necessity in music mean for us?
First of all, we listen to music for getting a certain state of emotion. For instance, while having a romantic dinner with somebody we want the atmosphere around us to be calm, romantic, relaxing, and for this purpose we need to turn on some classical music. Another example of necessity of music is its miracle feature to get through health problems. Striking example of it is the music of outstanding composer of all times Mozart because there are a lot of ways and methods phycologists find to treat from mental diseases. For others music serves as a language to reproduce inner feelings and to make a work of art. Composers hear or dream some melodies that come to them and they turn it to music.
All of these necessities of music is furiously increasing day by day and it goes closer to the process of globalization. As a result it leads to birth of some kind of International music. Along with the International music there is the traditional music of a country. Will the music of globalization become more important than every country's own music? The traditional music has peculiar culture, history, language and customes of its nation. So by listening to this music people can follow rules of their country. If the International music is more important for them, they will gradually forget about their own culture. It will result in a slow destruction of a particular nation. Hence people should listen to the International music but their country's music should be more important.
In conclusion, music is a many-sided phenomenon of our life. It shows inner state, has an influence on our emotions and keep peculiarities of some nation.
