Can you please tell the meaning of "catch a vision of the eager " in this sentence :


I should let my eyes rest,too, on the face of a baby, so that i could catch a vision of the eager.

Do you realize that the entire sentence makes a difference?

Do you see that she wishes to be able to look at the beauty of a baby's face? That she describes this beauty as "eager" and "innocent"?
