What do the following phrases mean:

To have a take on somebody.

To have a take on something.

I have been trying to look it up in the recourses on thesite and some other places, cannot find explanation, but I am sure I heard/readit somewhere, can’t provide the exact context though. I only assume they are idioms, cannot be so sure either.

Thank you.

It's an opinion. "What is your take on...?" is the same as asking "what is your opinion on...?"
