Hello

I have some problems with usage of articles, mostly in cases like following:

I finished A workshop of advanced excel. OR I finished workshop of advanced excel (without article a)

This tool may contribute to THE success of your business. OR This tool may contribute to success of your business (without the)

I am confused in cases when after the noun, it is explained about which noun are we talking about (of your business, of advanced excel). Should I use article a/the or not? I am not a native English speaker, so any help will be more than appreciated.

Thank you!

I finished an "Advanced Excel" workshop.

This tool might contribute to the success of your business.

Hello emsr2d2

Thank you for your reply. Can you explain why is it like that? Do you use the article in all cases like that?

Thank you in advance

Articles are very difficult to master. In many cases, it's just a case of learning an example sentence and then using the construction in similar sentences.
