In the following sentence, does the subject-verb agreement apply or the subjunctive (rule?)? I'm rather confused...If the singular verb "attends" is incorrect, please help me to understand the reason.
1a) It is important she attend the meeting OR
1b) It is important she attends the meeting.
2) should the word "that" be used in the above sentences? --> It is important THAT she........
- is there a rule to the use of "that"?
