I am also want/wanted to have coffee with you. Which form of verb usage is grammatically correct?

I also want to have coffee with you. Present simple.
I also wanted to have coffee with you. Past simple.

Note: You can only have one finite verb in any one clause. Therefore, you cannot have "am" (which is a form of the verb "be") and "want" / "wanted" in your sentence above.
