Outstanding or Incomplete

Hi

When referring to dental treatment that has not been completed, should it be referred to as 'outstanding dental treatment' or 'incomplete dental treatment'. I've always gone along the lines of using outstanding when referring to a balance being outstanding.

I think it is referred to as "follow-up treatment".

I would tend to call it "ongoing".
