"In the year 2006, movie Texas chainsaw massacre (sequel) was on a theatre near my house."

"There is a new movie on theatre."

"There is a new movie being shown on theatres."

"A multiplex theatre has more than one movie on, at once."

Please check.

Movies are shown in theaters/cinemas, not on them.

Why are you still enclosing your sentences in quotation marks?
I sometimes do so too. I mean to show that they are example sentences.
Is it incorrect to do so?

In the [STRIKE]year[/STRIKE] 2006, [STRIKE]movie[/STRIKE] Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the remake) was on at a theatre near my house."

There is a new movie on at the theatre

There is a new movie being shown at/in theatres.

A multiplex theatre has more than one movie [STRIKE]on, at once[/STRIKE]showing at the same time..

We use cinema rather than theatre in BrE.

Why are you still enclosing your sentences in quotation marks?

Okay, so I do not have to use quotation marks, right?

When a movie releases, it remains on at cinemas at least for few days.

When I was a kid there was a movie on at cinemas. It remained on at cinemas for two weeks only. It was a boring movie.

Are these correct?

You have to use quotation marks in the right places.

You used them correctly in post #3 here.

When I was a kid, there was a movie on at cinemas for only two weeks because it was boring.

No, and you don't need to use quotation marks here. See Matthew's amendments and note that he didn't use quotation marks.
