TECHNOLOGY IN OUR LIVES
Nowadays the technology dominates big part of our lives and it has brought about controversial opinions.
From my point of view, technology has both advantages and disadvantages like everything in our life. What do you think about technology in our lives?
On one hand it is thought that we are getting lazier because more tasks have become automated. For example: today there are a lot of gadgets that help us to do the housework more easily like dishwashers, microwaves, coffee maker, washing machine. This means that there are fewer tasks to do and more time to do nothing. Shopping, learning, working and entertainment can all be accessed from the comfort of our own homes. As a result, we are spending more time in doors than we are outside. We also get addicted to various gadgets such as computers, mobile phones, lifts that if these gadgets break down or there is not electricity we cannot work at all and we feel lost.
On the other hand the main advantage of computing probably is that it gives access to the information quickly and easily. Incidents that have happened anywhere in the world reach us through internet and we can even communicate with people from all parts of the word. Also, new discoveries have saved many innocent lives. Without brain scanners, fetal monitors, endoscopes, lasers, radioactive chemicals and computers, a lot of people would struggle with their health.
In conclusion, everything that we use in life is good or bad depending in their use. If we balance the use of technology we will get more benefits than problems.
