Are there any mistakes in my sentences?

The impending sense of doom in Alien Isolation was terrific. You were always on edge of your seat knowing that the Alien was lurking around and if caught, you would suffer a miserable and graphic death. The suspense got you vigilant and it was beefed up by the dark and unnerving ambiance. I rate that game very highly as a horror game.

Use past tense if you are talking about your experience while watching the movie at that time. Use present tense to talk about the viewer's experience while watching the movie in general (at any time).
