    Unhappy Mask pain

    What is the meaning of "mask pain" in that bolded sentence?

    You donít want to ever mask pain since thatís your bodyís way to signal that itís not happy about whatís happening.

    The word "mask" can be a noun or a verb. Which one do you think it is in that sentence?
