Hello, guys! Please, check my report for CAE exam!
Numbers of foreign students attending a language school in your town have been falling recently and a governors’ committee has been established to increase future numbers. The school principal has asked you to write a report for this committee on the current situation and to recommend how more students could be attracted to the school. Your report should address the following:t what attracts foreigners to your town new teaching methods and facilities that could be offered how leisure facilities and opportunities for socialising could be improved. Write your (missing word) in 220-260 words
Introduction
The principal objective of my report is to highlight the current situation at our language school and make some suggestions for the improvements related to the attractiveness of our town, modern teaching methods, and leisure activities. My report is based on numerous comments I have got from international students and my own observations.
Town issue
To boost the attractiveness of the town, the governor committee should pay extra attention to cultural establishments, as a lack of such is what international students most complain about. Local libraries, the theatre, and the cinema are dilapidated which evokes little intention to go there. All of the buildings require renovation.
Teaching progress
Our language school applies a conventional teaching strategy that focuses on communication between teachers and students only at school. None of the teachers use modern technology and the Internet in their educational programs, whereas applying them might be beneficial, as it would provide constant communication between teachers and students, and allow them to give feedback on the syllabus.
Leisure facilities
According to the international students, who used to study in our town, a lack of nightlife was the major drawback during their educational process. Instead of going out, they had to stay in dormitories which most of them found tedious. We still do not have any nightclubs, bars, and karaoke clubs, so establishing ones would contribute to the attractiveness of the town.
Recommendations
I would recommend implementing all the suggestions listed above with special attention to the nightlife issue. First nightclubs and bars will not only boost the attractiveness of our town, but will also be welcomed by local young people.
