Does "which opened into the entrance hall" refers to a habit or something else is intended? I mean, does the door opened in that occasion?
Does "since" mean "since his death"?
The Rev. G. Vale Owen describes* the return of George Leaf, one of his Bible Class lads in Orford, Warrington, who joined the R.F.A. and was killed in the Great War.
