That's probably a typo error. Further south than?
You always use the comparative(bigger, better, further) with 'than'
.

2.The screw located for end stop going right. Is it a correct sentence?
The sentence does not make any sense. You normally say 'located at', not 'located for'. Where did you get this from?

No. Both of those sentences are grammatically wrong.

2.The screw located for end stop going right. Is it a correct sentence?
No. It doesn't even make sense to me. What does it mean?

Thank for your advice!

***** NOT A TEACHER *****

Hello, Notletrest.

(1) I think (think!!!) I know what the exam writer was trying to say:

(a) If you look at a map, everybody thinks that Florida is the

southernmost state.

(b)But if you study a globe, you see that Hawaii actually is our

southernmost state.

(i) As the Encyclopedia of World Travel says:

"The Hawaiian Islands are more southern and more western than any other part of the United States."

***** Thank you for your question *****:)

The collocatiion 'rather south than' is wrong, a glaring error if it is printed on an exam paper.
'Further south than' would have been correct.
