May I use person here instead of people ?

Maintainperformance evaluations for 5-person team of IT Department
or

Maintain performance evaluations for a 5-person team in the IT Department
or
Maintain performance evaluations for 5 people in the IT Department

I am not a teacher.

To try and answer your actual question, if it is really a team of five people as opposed to five unconnected individuals then you would say, 'a five-person team'.

If you are referring to five people amongst many others you could say, 'five people in the IT Department'.
