Which one is correct?
 
Southerners say "a apple" or "a orange", so I guess they would say "a hour". 🤔

(I'm not a native Southerner.)
 
Standard English is 'an' before a vowel sound. 'Hour' begins with a vowel sound - it's pronounced exactly the same as 'our'.

Please make it clear that when you say "Southerners", you're talking about those from the southern states of the USA. The term is also used in the UK, to mean people from the south of England. We certainly don't say "a apple" or "a orange" here!
 
I didn't know that. Probably most Americans don't know that.
