Could you have a look at the screenshot. Could you explain the word 'direct' to me?

The source of information is direct. Does it mean that the person will always take inforamtion only from official sites or official newspapers?

For example, if they need news on taxes, they will go only to official website of the tax office? So that no outside reporter should transmit it.

Is it meant ot not?

A direct source doesn't divert. It goes straight to the point and doesn't include things that are objectively irrelevant, like opinions and rumors.
 
In other words, the source is focused on facts only. No comments or something. Am I right?
 
A direct source could also be information you get direct from the actual source. For example, you might want to watch footage of a press conference so that you can see everything as it happened, rather than read about it third-hand from someone who might not even have been there in person.
 
Factual reporting differs from comment.
