You have identified a significant difference between the phrases, so how can they be used interchangeably?

I don't know how the source link is meant to be helpful.

I don't know how the source link is meant to be helpful.

For examle, Using ''action man'' to refer to someone who prefers to do things rathen than discuss them, and using ''a man of action'' to talk about someone who likes dangerous pastimes. As they look similar, I decided to ask perhaps it is possible to use them interchangeably.

Sorry, if the link is not helpful. The book has many interesting terms in it, so I thought I would mention it. A learner of English might find it quite helpful :)

Another interesting(in my opinion) expression was: ''I don't Adam and Eve it!''

You can't use
action man in place of man of action. The definitions you provided illustrate that they don't mean the same thing.
