Hello.
The National Police counter-terrorism unit, Densus 88, raided a shop allegedly rented by a terrorist suspect at Cimahi, West Java, on Friday, as a follow-up investigation after an earlier raid in Bandung regency where three alleged terrorists were shot dead.

terrorist is a noun acting as an adjective
suspect - is an adjective acting as a noun.
a refers to suspect.

Am I right?

Why do you think that "suspect" is an adjective acting as a noun? "Suspect" is a noun. It can be an adjective in the right context but here, it's a noun.
