Where did you find this abbreviation? What does "the b/o Oct." stand for?
from my colleque's e-mail, he said it will be finished by b/o Oct. I know Oct. means Octobor. but I don't know b/o. ThanksWhere did you find this abbreviation?
Sky this is one of those times when you will have to go back to your coworker and ask.
"Hi John,
You used "b/o October" but that's not an abbreviation I'm familiar with. Can you tell me what that means? And then I'll know the next time I see it. Thanks!"
I have to do that when people use abbreviations I don't know. When it's with someone I know well, I just reply with "b/o Oct = ? Thanks!" but what's with people I already have a good working relationship with.
Logically, I would guess it meant by the end of October, though it's not an abbreviation I am familiar with. However, here are some possible uses of b/o:

Thank you for your advice.
I will ask my colleague the meaning.
I assume it is "beginning of October".
