Hi,

I am the better , i am the best , i am the smaller..etc
All of them are adjective (good-better-best) and what i mean , for example i have a friend group and i say normally,

'I am the better one or i am the best one in this group.
But...

Can i say like that?
I am better or i am best ?
I am the better or i am the best?

If we can, can we use all the comparatives and superslatives like that ?
Can we use 'the' ?
Thanks

If you want us to make the effort to respond to your questions, then you might make the effort to use capital letters for the first person pronoun 'I'.

And I believe I have noted in your previous posts that we do not put a space before a comma or a question mark.

As people give you advice on your posts, please try to take note of the advice and use correct versions in future posts.

Thank you but, why won't you answer my question?

If you are not prepared to follow the advice of people in these forums, then I see little point in responding to other posts of yours. Simple.

It is an only space before a comma.I couldn't understand why you fussed.

If you are not interested in correct punctuation, which is an integral part of written English, it is difficult to believe that you are interested in any other part of the language.

Apart from anything else, incorrect punctuation actually makes it quite difficult for native speakers to concentrate on the contents of a post.

I know but, i have asked a question about grammer. It is important too. And, i couldn't still get an answer to my question.
Thanks again

The more times you post the same question whilst still using incorrect punctuation, the less likely you are to get a response!

I'm sure your question is important. Punctuation is also important.

1) No space before a comma.
2) Space after a comma.
3) No space before a question mark.
4) Space after a question mark.
5) No space before a full stop.
6) Space after a full stop.
7) Full stop at the end of every sentence.
8) It's grammar, not grammer.

If you won't answer my question for an only space, thank you.

OR........YOU DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER WHOSE QUESTION I HAVE ASKED !

Now now. Don't throw your toys out the pram. There's really no need to shout.

By the way, no space is required before an exclamation mark either!

And it should read "Or you don't know the answer to the question I asked!"

Had you noted the punctuation (and other) suggestions that we had all made previously and applied them to this post much sooner, you would probably have your answer by now. You said it was important. If so, why are you wasting more time posting irrelevant (and still badly punctuated) complaints?

You may be a teacher or a good teacher but, you dont know how to talk to a lady..

I have nothing to say.

It is more important to behave like a man!
