Hi, everyone. Is this long subject correct and natural? Many thanks!

Advertisements for material items targeted at children should be banned.

I would replace "material items" with "products".

Thanks, tedmc. But by 'material items', I mean things like expensive sneakers.

"Material items" does not mean that. It could mean anything. How about "branded products/goods"?

Different questions.

They are different questions.

That's a fair point. On WR, you seem to be asking if "branded products" means things like "expensive jeans and T-shirts". (It doesn't.)

As tedmc said, in this thread, "material items" just doesn't work. We don't say that. You could say "expensive products" or "designer products".

Thanks, emsr2d2. That wasn't what I was asking. I was asking a synonyms for branded products because I needed to use it twice.

It would help if we knew what you meant by "branded products".
