Is the sentence below acceptable, natural, or not natural? Thanks a lot.

My inability to communicate with other people affects me in a negative way in making friends.
 
It is correct and natural.
 
It would be more natural to say 'Because of my inability to communicate with other people I don't make friends easily .'
