Affiliate Researchers are regular [university faculty], research [university faculty], or adjunct university faculty or non-university researchers, including post-doctoral fellows, who actively participate in institute activities, including its research projects or committees.

Is my paraphrase correct?

It's clear from the beginning that it's associated with the university.

Affiliate Researchers are regular(university faculty), research (university faculty), or adjunct university faculty researchers, or non-university researchers, including post-doctoral fellows, who actively participate in institute activities, including its research projects or committees.

The multiple adjectives used is a bit confusing. I think adding another "researchers" makes it clearer as to which noun the adjectives modify.

I found this thread really insightful—multi-adjective constructions like this can definitely be tricky for non-native speakers. I’ve faced similar phrasing issues when writing academic bios and marketing copy. Using tools like [advertising removed by moderator] content optimizer actually helped me refine phrasing for clarity in lead gen materials too. Sometimes the overlap between academic and marketing language is closer than we think!

Do enlighten us though - exactly what parts of this thread did you find really insightful?
