Alice felt uneasy all day. She felt a pit growing in her stomach and a long bath and three glasses of wine didn't do much to help. Things got worse when she lay in bed, struggling to fall sleep. Anxiety was clawing at her throat, scratching her heart which was beating a lot faster than usual.
