"I play game all the time". Is it correct to use "all time" instead of "all the time" ?
"I think of her all day". Is it correct to use "all the day" instead of "all day" ?
More short explanations are highly appreciated !
Thank you so much !

Hi,

1. Either, "I play games (plural) all the time", or I play the (definite article) game all the time.

2. 'all day' is more usual although there's nothing inherently wrong with 'all the day'. If you were wanting emphasis, or perhaps a more poetic statement you'd be better with 'I think of her all the day long'.
