Hi,

Which one is correct between the two sentences? do you think both of the two sentences are okay?

a) You are an a lot better teacher than you think you are.
b) You are a lot better teacher than you think you are.

Hi.

Which [STRIKE]one[/STRIKE] of these sentences is correct? [STRIKE]between the two sentences?[/STRIKE] Do you think both [of the] [STRIKE]two[/STRIKE] sentences are okay?

a) You are an a lot better teacher than you think you are. :cross:
b) You are a lot better teacher than you think you are. :cross:

They're both wrong. We don't say "a lot better" and follow it with a noun at all.

You're a far better teacher than you think you are.
You're a great teacher - a lot better than you think you are.

Note my other corrections above.
