An Answer or The Answer

I'm confused between 'An Answer' or 'The Answer' ?

Can anyone pls help me out with this ?

'Blue' is an answer to the question 'Can you name a colour beginning with b?'

'Wednesday' is the answer to the question 'What day of the week follows Tuesday?'

Can you see the difference?
