This is what I've got so far:

I'm really not sure about the part in red and also let me know if I have got the rest right.

Yes, it is "and I also wrote something on my cellphone". The Southern accent of the person just pronunciations it as "somethin'".

Thank you for clearing up. Hehe, actually it didn't even sound like "somethin" to me, more like "som' " But I'm glad my guess turned out ok.
