And there goes my mind racing
And you are the reason
That I'm still breathing
I'm hopeless now

The above is a stanza from the song called "YOU Are the Reason," Is it right to consider the underlined part to be "My mind goes on running about?" If not, how should I understand it? Thanks.

It means the singer's mind is working quickly, going fast — racing.

Additionally, "There goes my mind(,) racing" indicates that the speaker finds that behavior typical of his mind when he thinks about his love.

"Racing" is really nonrestrictive and could be set off with a comma. The speaker is observing his mind. To himself, he could just say, "There it goes (again)."
