Anna had been dating Phillip for some months and was head over heels in love with him. He was an attractive and intelligent man who fulfilled all her demands on men. Then the warning signs started to blink in her mind because of Phillip's small lies. The more he lied, the less she felt any attraction to him. Her intuition told her his small lies would gradually turn into big lies and even worse, into cheating, stealing and adultery. Life is too short to waste it on jerks, she thought. So the next time Phillip called her on the phone, instead of her, he heard the reply from the answering machine telling him that Anna hated liers, and they shouldn't bother calling her again.
