Are these sentences grammatically correct?

I made some sentences with I learned new. Please check whether these sentences are correct below.

1 He has been too sheltered that he can't do anything by himself.

2 He has been too sheltered that can't do anything by himself.

3 The black colors on the edge of cape is in contrast to the yellow colors on the cape.
 
1. It seems off to me with "too." I would say he has been so sheltered...
2. No, you need the second "he."
3. Your verb doesn't match. "Colors are," not "colors is."
 
And you need "the" before "cape" both times in #3.
