Are these sentences have the same meaning

Does the second one has the same meaning as the first? I was supposed to rewrite this sentence:
"These two boxers weigh exactly the same"

Does the second one ha[STRIKE]s[/STRIKE]ve the same meaning as the first? I was supposed to rewrite this sentence:
3. "These two boxers weigh exactly the same"

All three mean the same, but #2 is not very natural, in my opinion.
