Are these sentences have the same meaning

"There is no difference in weight between these two boxers"
"There is no difference between the weights of these two boxers"

Does the second one has the same meaning as the first? I was supposed to rewrite this sentence:
"These two boxers weigh exactly the same"
 
1. "There is no difference in weight between these two boxers"
2. "There is no difference between the weights of these two boxers"

Does the second one ha[STRIKE]s[/STRIKE]ve the same meaning as the first? I was supposed to rewrite this sentence:
3. "These two boxers weigh exactly the same"
All three mean the same, but #2 is not very natural, in my opinion.
