Hi,

Are the following sentences natural to a native ear?

1. I don’t know how to play chess ( Someone asked if I wanted to play chess).

2. I said this to someone who asked me if I wanted to play pingpong with them.

3. My thoughts are mostly what john just said.
.

Thanks,
MG.

They are OK.

With #2, I would say "table tennis", not "pingpong".

In any event, dictionaries spell it ping-pong or ping pong - not as a single word.

Thanks folks.
