As for me/As far as I'm concerned/Speaking for myself

Some of my students like to use "As for me" in contexts where there is no opposition, if you know what I mean. Is the use of "As for me" natural in the following contexts? If not, what introductory phrases can be used to emphasize that one is expressing his own opinion?

1) There are lots of public holidays in Britain. As for me, I like Christmas Day most of all.
2) Public transport in London includes taxi, bus and metro. As for me, I like metro best.

Will "As far as I'm concerned" be better in the above contexts or will it be the same?
What about "Speaking for myself"?

I don't think an introductory phrase is needed. The pronoun "I" indicates that is the writer's opinion.

I agree with your OP, englishhobby. 'As for me' suggests an opposing viewpoint.

I find all your alternatives acceptable for emphasising that you are expressing your own opinion.

Again, the sentence would have the same meaning without "personally".
