Hi. Which one is correct? Why?
1. Tom has twice more DVDs as I have.
2. Tom has twice more DVDs than I have.

Neither is correct.

Did you write these sentences yourself? Why?

I did not write myself. I saw it on a website.
please write the correct sentence and explain.
Thanks.

Please write the correct sentence and explain.

Whenever you see something on a website and decide to ask us about it, please give us a link to it or at the very least tell us about the context.

Tom has twice as many DVDs as I have.
Is it right?

The first is wrong. However, the second is possible (but unusual).
For example, if I have 10 DVDs, and Tom has 30 DVDs, then the sentence might work.

I have 10. Twice that is 20.
Tom has 20 more than I have. Or ...

Tom has twice more DVDs than I have.
