As Philip was walking through the shopping mall he saw many things he wished to buy, but his wallet said no. After about an hour of strolling from one shop to another, he was dizzy with impressions and craving. He stepped outside into the grey, cold winter day and shuddered. The spell was broken, and he hurried home, where a pot of three-day-old bean-soup waited for him.
