I, for example, want to extend help to some one, provided that they need it (in the future). How am I supposed to say it to them?

1- Ask me if you needed any help. or,
2- Ask me if you need any help.

Please call me/ask me if you need any help [in the future].

This is an example of using the present simple to represent the future.
