When addressing a letter to two persons with the same last name, what is the best way to address this?

When addressing a letter to two persons with the same last name, what is the best way to address this?
Gentlemen
The traditional way used to be "Messrs." which is an abbreviated form of "Messieurs", which in turn is the plural of "Mr.", the abbreviated form of "Monsieur".
