'I really love when the beat drops in this part of the song.'
Is the above sentence correct? Should I have used 'at' instead?
The sentence has no source or author. I made it up in my head.

1. Love is a transitive verb, so it needs an object (it).
2. I would use at to refer to a specific part of a song.
3. What do you mean by beat drops? Do you mean it slows down?

I would use "in" as within a part of the song.

Not really. A beat-drop is when an EDM song reaches its climax, then drops. Try imagining a roller coaster at the top of the track, about to take a nose-dive.

Use at this point in the song.

This is because you're thinking about a certain position in the song, not a section of the song.
