We live on planet earth, one of the eight planets which revolve around the sun, which together, form the Solar System.

I am confused by the grammar of the sentence "At the center of our existence is a powerful dynamo. The Sun." Would you please explain it?

Thank you.
It's actually a sentence and a sentence fragment. The subject of the sentence is dynamo. The verb is is.

It could be written as a single sentence ". . . a powerful dynamo, the Sun."

The writer separated "The Sun" from the rest of the sentence for dramatic effect: ". . . a powerful dynamo. [Drumroll] The Sun!"

Would you please explain what "drumroll" is and its role here?

It's a virtual sound effect, signaling that the next words are especially significant.
