Hi, is there any difference between two words "atrociousness" and "atrocity" ? These two words are also the corresponding noun of the adjective "atrocious".

"Atrocity" is normally used for an atrocious act.
"Atrociousness" is generally used as the abstract noun.

"I can't believe the atrociousness of that atrocity!"
You can say, "I can't believe the atrocity of his actions", but you normally wouldn't say, "His actions were an atrociousness!"
