The mother says to her daughters:

"In the movie "The Secret," we are talking about the Law of Attraction. We want to be careful about the people we surround aourselves with because we become the average of those people"

I can't understand what does she mean here by "we become the average of those people"

Thanks.

Excuse me, Can you kindly explain to me how caring about people around us makes us like them? I get get what she means!

So if you rephrased it for me, It would be:

"we have to care for people we surround ouselves with because.....?"

I got it! "we have to care for them because we might be in the same position where we need somebody to care for us"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got it! "we have to care for them because we might be in the same position where we need somebody to care for us"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now you're kidding, right?
If not, look up "careful" in a few dictionaries. It does not mean caring about people.

OK. Then, we have to choose people whom we deal with them carefully bec we become like them eventually weither good or bad
