Hi. I want to express the idea that someone is loyal to his ancestors' deeds. Can I say "he stands in the same lines (rows) with . .. . . ?"

Yes. You could also substitute "ranks" for "lines", or express it as "He follows in the footsteps of...."

Well, G knows what he's talking about. ;-) But I've never heard "he stands in the same lines with'.

To me "ranks" is the best here.
