Hi,

1. You must be prepared for the quiz next time.
2. You must come prepared for the quiz next time.

Is the second sentence also correct? If so, can we use 'prepared', an adjective, with the connotation of an adverb?

Thanks.

#2 could suggest that the person has to bring things to the quiz, like a pen and paper, for instance.

May I try?
No.1 means you should read the paper or books for preparing the quiz.
No.2 means you should bring a pen, books and paper for the quiz.
Am I correct?

#2 could mean studying or bringing things.
