"It is supposed to be hard resolving this problem."
"It is supposed to be hard to resolve this problem."

I know it's not complete sentence.
I have a 2 question about those sentence.
I really confuse to use that expression especially, to (verb) / (verb) ing
My friend said 'use might, because problem has resolution.'
I don't know that what meaning.

Q1. Can i use 'might' replace 'be supposed to'? what's the difference those??

Q2. What is the difference to resolve and resolving?
How am i use that?

Welcome to the forum.

Note that both of them are actually complete sentences. The difference is that the first is not grammatically correct. We would say "It is supposed to be hard to resolve that problem". However, if you change the word order, you can say "Resolving that problem is supposed to be hard".

Please see my corrections in red.
